Transition evaluator

Evaluator version 1 parses foreign values, verifies both endpoint lattices, and accepts only a coherent whole-phrase allele at the same aligned pulse and part. It rejects cross-edge movement, forged endpoint grids, pulse-mixed phrases, changes outside the registered hand, incompatible context, and invented physical keys.

The implementation test audit records 11,776 aligned pulse-cell checks and 628 distinct accepted grow or release toggles. These are software-coverage facts, not judgments of traditional musical validity.

Structural analysis

Structural analyzer version 1 returns candidate relationships, not a preferred hearing. On the bundled inherent-line-study study, the cyclic minimum-register-motion method emits 8 candidate inherent lines across several onset densities. Every event retains its source part and source event identifier.

The metric analyzer returns 7 separate rotation profiles: onset, duration, bass, harmonic-area, candidate-line, resultant, and hosho evidence. It deliberately computes no aggregate downbeat. Harmonic-area and hosho profiles remain unavailable until exact annotations are supplied.

The interlock fixture enumerates all 48 phase offsets and reports collisions, alternation, coverage, and rest complementarity without naming a winner. The observed variation classifier recognizes a vocabulary of 12 literal operation types, while ghosting and combined pitch-metric interpretation still require annotations.

Annotation schema 1 represents cross-stream selected lines, tune-relative harmonic areas, reviewed variation examples, and measured or reference-only tuning profiles. A historical 8-point tuning profile is kept as a reference-only comparison and cannot be silently attached to a tune.

Performance observation

Performance-observation schema 1 represents timed multi-cycle sessions, part-specific instruments, exact adjacent-frame changes, phase, expression, and 2 canonical annotation-reference kinds. Evidence readiness is decided per transition and requires qualified independent review for that transition.

The analyzer can verify exactly 4 operator shapes from adjacent frame and phase differences: repeat-cycle, add-pulse-tone, omit-pulse-tone, rotate-cycle-start. Other labels remain reviewer claims or are rejected when incompatible with the observed delta. Its product-claim status remains not-authorized.

Generative grammar

Grammar 1 names 23 proposed operators but only 2 implemented executors: repeat-cycle, reviewed-phrase-allele. The remaining 21 operators cannot run.

Evidence status (accepted or blocked) and executor status (available or not-implemented) are independent. Only repeat-cycle is enabled without a recipe selection. The phrase-allele executor additionally requires an exact registered edge, direction, endpoint pair, hand, phrase span, and at least one materially different endpoint cell inside that span. Qualified annotation evidence must match a complete project-owned build record; no caller-authored review field can register one.

Evolution engine

The studio’s verified default endpoint is mbiramachine-baya-wabaya-ea-kushaura-1. Eligible selections start with Evolve selected; records outside the exact recipe remain fixed.

The deterministic engine uses 4 source-format phrase compartments and at most 9 structural states. It omits inactive-phrase padding and coalesces the duplicate source state between ranked lanes. It presents the opening source for 1 cycle, then holds each later state for 2 cycles and returns to the exact source. Tests bound every eligible run of identical musical cycles to 2. It synthesizes no pitches: every generated attack comes from the selected source or its registered donor at the same pulse and hand.

Equal quarters are a property of this catalog format, not performer-annotated phrase boundaries or a general account of mbira form. Soft seam and novelty metrics rank already legal paths; they never authorize a transition.
